Back At The Happiest Place On Earth!

The week after Jack turned five we headed back to Disneyland to celebrate!  This time we brought Luke with us and we were very excited- last time it was Sam's first trip to Disneyland, but this time it was Luke's first time there!

Dave was working the day before, so we drove separately and met him at the park- the oys waited very patiently for him, and I took the opportunity to take a few pictures:

Sam decided to look at the map...

... and was really excited when he found "Mickey House!"

This time we tried to do the things that we hadn't had time to do the last time before we did duplicates... first we sent Dave and Jack on Star Tours (which Jack adored!) and then we headed in the direction of Adventureland!  The boys had a great time playing on The Swiss Family Robinson Tarzan's Treehouse!

We made our way through Adventureland, New Orleans Square, and were starting to make a dent in Critter Country while tag-teaming taking Jack on Splash Mountain when the two-year-olds had to cave in to their exhaustion

Of course, Sam woke up as soon as the stroller started moving, but Luke is a good sleeper so while he was out we decided to make our way back to Tomorrowland to ride the Astro Orbiter after a quick stop in Astro Blasters... and while we were in line I took advantage of the wait to take some pictures of my men!

When Luke woke up it was time for the teacups... I do not ride the teacups so I was the designated picture-taker, of course!

Then it was time for Small World... another line, another photo op!

The particular trip on Small World was probably my favorite one ever.  Jack and Sam had just been on it a couple months before so they remembered it well and were excited for it- Sam was even singing along with the children.  But Luke didn't know what to expect, and it was so fun watching him enjoy the ride!  He was very into watching all the children singing in the worlds, and he and Sam spent the rest of the day taking turns singing "It's A Small World After All" for the rest of the day.  It was definitely Luke's favorite part of the day, and I just couldn't get over how cute it was that he loved it so much!

Then Sam found some great transportation...

... on our way to visit Casey Junior (the boys wanted to show Luke the train!)

We said "hi" to Dumbo...

...on our way to stake out a spot on the parade route!  The boys were excited to see it again so there was no question that we would watch it!

Then we paused to dinner...

... and then we got the boys light up light sabers, put their jammies on and settled in to watch Fantasmic!

Last but not least, a video of my birthday boy, Jedi Jackson, playing with his newest light saber... we got quite a kick out of this last burst of energy before we got in the car to head home!
