I Heart Faces- Bundled Up

This week the theme over at I Heart Faces is "Bundled Up". In celebration of the cold weather that much of the country is dealing with or has dealt with this winter, they've declared that "This week's photo should be all about snow, the cold, being bundled up, etc. Any way that you can show off the concept of cold and being "bundled up" will work for us." Well, great! There are bound to be some great photos entered this week and I've really been enjoying looking through the entries (which you can do here or by clicking on the button above)! However, I live in Sunny Southern California, where it's 82 degrees today- certainly too hot to bundle my kids up and pretend we aren't wearing shorts and flip flops today. I mean I could torture my kids by forcing them to be my photo props in this heat, but I prefer to save torturing my children for only the most special of occasions. So, for this week's entry I dug through the archives and found one from When Jack was 2.5 months old... the child spent most of the time swaddled because he was so fussy, so I think that qualifies as being bundled up, even if it doesn't portray anything cold. Another thing it portrays- why it's dangerous to fall asleep, even for 5 minutes, when Dave is around- check out that hairdo! Come to think of it, maybe that's why Jack never slept as a baby!!! It's all Dave's fault!
Okay, so this probably doesn't fit the theme at all, but at least now I have an excuse to post this photo!

  5. There isn't much in this world that I love more than to see a strong, male hand with a baby in it. Great shot!
